Description
Knight's Cross recipient's estate of the Luftwaffe, Major Joachim Gey, Kampfgeschwader 3, certificate estate. Interesting estate of recipient "Joachim Gey" with his certificate for the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross and the certificate for the Frontflugspange in Gold with pendant. He flew a total of 409 missions and achieved notable successes. Among other things, Major Gey destroyed a total of 34 tanks between July and November 1942 while serving in the center of the Eastern Front. On September 3, 1942, he prevented a breakthrough by Soviet tanks east of Sytsevka, completely destroying four tanks due to direct hits.
