Description
Unworn Panzer visor cap for Wehrmacht officers. Pink riot color, field-gray gabardine cloth, dark green band, cockade, oak leaf wreath, and cap eagle hand-embroidered with metal thread. Silver cord. Exterior very well preserved, without holes. The cap is slightly warped, presumably due to storage. Inside, a brown sweatband, with a trapeze in the center, slightly open at the top. Manufacturer: "Offizierskleiderkasse Berlin EREL Sonderklasse Berlin" (Officers' Clothing Fund Berlin EREL Special Class Berlin). The sweatband is also printed with the manufacturer's imprint "EREL Patent Stirnschutz" (Erel Patent Forehead Protection). Condition 1-2. Head size:
